The Delhi High Court, for the third instance, dismissed a petition calling for the ousting of Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister subsequent to his recent arrest on corruption charges. In a notable remark, a bench presided over by acting Chief Justice Manmohan emphasized the principle of allowing democracy to progress naturally.
Furthermore, the court, refraining from advising Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on compelling the Aam Aadmi Party leader to step down, stated that Mr. Saxena was competent to act in accordance with the law without the need for their counsel.
Delhi court on Monday sent chief minister Arvind Kejriwal to judicial custody until April 15 in a money laundering case linked to a now-scrapped liquor policy, less than three weeks before the country begins voting in Lok Sabha elections.
Updates Waited!!
